Camera Wraps

You've just bought the newest, smallest and shiniest digital camera and now you're terrified of marking or damaging your pristine piece of technology. We've all been there. Everyone likes their gadgets to stay shiny for as long as possible, and to help you achieve that dream some reclusive camera boffin has developed the Camera Wrap. The concept couldn't be much simpler, you just screw the wrap into the tripod fitting on the base of all cameras, and then wrap the camera up in the stretchy, protective material. Hey presto, you're protected. The Velcro fastener flips open easily for taking shots, but vitally, stays attached to the base of the camera so you don't leave it behind. Unwrap, snap and wrap, and now you can stuff your camera in your bag or pocket without worrying that it's going to get up close and personal with your keys, or anything else likely to scratch the screen or damage its pristine beauty. No more scratches, no more cracks and most of all, no more leaving your camera case on the table of the last café you stopped at.

Excellent idea

Only trouble is that when transferring photos to the Internet, the wrap has to be removed or at least partially unscrewed and repositioned so the lead can be connected.

Very, very handy.

Nice, fast, stylish, easy to attach. So far so good. The only issue I have with this is that it uses the 'tripod' screw on the bottom of the camera to attach, so you can't then quickly screw a tripod in without detatching the cover. If there was a socket for a tripod on the bottom of this, it would be perfect....
