Wireless Floating Speaker

Sound gadgets such as iPods and the like are beautiful things, but when you want to listen to your music around the house, in the bathroom, the Jacuzzi, the garden, or out by your luxurious pool, you don't want to go ruining them with water and dirt - or come to think of it drag round speakers festooned with wires and cables. This Wireless Floating Speaker allows you to leave your high-tech gadgetry (and indeed your stereo system) safe in the warm while you take the speakers wherever you like. You can even float it in the bath or the pool! A small transmitter hooks up to your sound system (be it big stack or small MP3 player) and wirelessly transmits your tunes effortlessly up to 150ft away, to this incredibly cool speaker. Wherever you wander round the house or garden you can take your music with you. Hook it up to your iPod, your computer, your stereo, your TV, i.e. whatever has a standard 3.5mm audio output and is pounding out sound, and you've got waterproof music at your fingertips. Ingenious and indispensable.

Neat Idea
Date: 27 October 2009
Good idea - not sure I'd want it in the bath as you cannot get the upper side wet (I don't want to risk a tidal wave splash!) so I leave mine on the bathroom cabinet, it's perfect. Signal is pretty good and the sound quality is acceptable...I've found it a little hard going on the batteries (maybe I just bought a duff pack...?) but all in all, it's a great gift!

Poor Quality / Design Fault
Date: 25 October 2009
Not one of my most sensible web purchases. This product suffers from the most basic design fault as it's battery compartment sits below the water line. The construction is also not of the highest quality.
The overall result is that water can easily seep in & cause corrosion. All it took was one weekend in the water & a few days in the dry. It is now totally unusable.
By contract the underwater light show (UNDLIG) I received as a gift has its battery compartment comfortably above the water line & is still working perfectly happily.

Awesome! Love it
Date: 23 October 2009
Bought this for my pregnant girlfriend so she could listen to music in the bath and around the house from our PC without having to burn CD's or drag around a heavy stereo. It's awesome, the range is extremely good and we haven't had any issues with interference.
Thinking of taking it on our next holiday with our MP3 player.
Got to be one of the best things i've bought recently!

Not what it says on the tin...
Date: 22 October 2009
The floating speaker arrived with no transmitter. IWOT very helpfully then sent me out another one, but this time the connector lead was missing for the mini jack to my ipod. When I finally got myself a mini jack lead and tried out the gadget, I found it to be pretty poor. Very fuzzy reception. Like listening to a radio station not tuned in properly. A pretty useless gadget in my opinion.

Not such a good quality sound
Date: 22 October 2009
It is vey funky, it has impress a few friends of mine, but the sound quality is very poor. Not sure if the one I have is faulty cause one of the speakers has very low output so the stereo sound is not that good. Expensive to run too, batteries on the transmitter have very short life

This is an absolute Must Have

Great gadget - brings music to every part of the house or garden, good sound quality and even floats in the pool. You don't need to spend a fortune on a sound system for outdoors, just buy this.
