This looked to be perfect for me, but it didn't quite live up to the promise.
Firstly, it was sold as being for the Mac, but only came with PC software (though the supplier does have a Mac version). It works fine with GarageBand, but I don't have the benefit of audio tools that should have come with it.
Secondly, there is no way to alter the input volume in the Mac audio driver. When I connected it to standard phono audio out connections on my amplifier, the result was horribly distorted. I have had to connect it to the headphone output, which rather defeats the object of the ripper giving phono inputs.
I hope with some fiddling I can get improvements, but first impressions are not brilliant.
