Bought the "MP4 Video Watch" from IWOOT last month, and thought I'd share my experience with this product here.
The idea of listening to music from a watch is fantastic, which is what attracted me to this product in the first place, however, the product itself (and instructions) has the following drawbacks:
* CD: The user instructions on the CD, is not very understandable, due to the very poor English used, to the extent that some sentences are unclear. The directory structure and file names on the CD are also not very well organised / labelled, had to do a bit of searching around to find the user guide.
* TIME DISPLAY: Not very clear in sunlight, did not also like the size of the numbers vs. size of display-dial.
* BUTTONS ON WATCH:
- Found it very cumbersome that the music volume operating buttons would not work when displaying-time, I had to go through the modes to music mode again, to be able to do that.
- Also would have preferred a single-button press to get back into time-display mode, wherever/whatever else I am doing in the watch, rather than having to go through the modes again every time.
* OTHERS: The user manual says in its own style, that if water were to fall on the watch, the result is unpredictable (something to that effect) and that the watch wouldn't function. Overall, I got the impression that this was a cheap product, and not sturdy at all..
Considering the above, as I do not find this product satisfactory, I regret that I bought it.
I received an email that if the product was not in resaleable condition, it cannot be returned - but as I had not expected not to like the product (silly me) I did not retain some of the packaging, and hence could not send it back for a refund. Hmm..
