Smartbox Tasting

There are some people who just can't rest until they've sampled everything that life has to offer and do we have the perfect present for them. The Smartbox Tasting contains a voucher that entitles two people to attend one of 70 gourmet Tastings up and down the UK. Everything from wine and seafood to chocolate and fudge is available and you'll even receive a handy guidebook that lists all of the different tastings and their locations, making it just that little bit easier to make your choice. Of course, if you're feeling selfish you can keep the Smartbox to yourself but how much better would it make you feel if you gave it to somebody else? They may even take you along with them to the tasting. If they don't, then you may want to consider setting fire to their shoe laces. It can be an absolute nightmare buying presents for some people, which is why the Smartbox is such a fantastic idea. You buy the box, they choose what they want to do - what could be simpler? Great gift when you're stuck for ideas
Date: 22 October 2009
I bought this for my Dad's 65th. He picked afternoon tea at Otterburn Towers as his treat. Liked the idea of stopping overnight and ended up stopping 4 days. A small party had also booked into the hotel so Mum and Dad got upgraded to the Library Suite. The staff were fantastic, the setting beautiful and my Dad sounded like a little kid on Christmas Day.
The best way to describe this is "If Carling did afternoon tea"
