Long gone are the halcyon days of lobbing a water-filled balloon out of the window onto unsuspecting passers by. In those days, the only way to efficiently get decent velocity out of a water balloon was to drop it from a great height. Well, now that's all changed. Someone with too much time on their hands has invented a startlingly simple and yet supremely effective high-speed delivery system for water balloons. The Waterbomb Slingshot will power water balloons over distances of up to 150 metres! There are no doubt more worthwhile and earnest pastimes than slingshotting (new verb there) waterbombs at high speeds over huge distances, but few of them are as fulfilling and exquisitely puerile. The Slingshot is a simple piece of kit comprising what is basically a huge and powerful rubber band, with a grip at either end, and a sling in the middle where you put your 'aquatic' missile. Two people hold either end while you pull back the launcher as far as your bravado allows, and then let rip. The kit comes with a carry pouch and a bag of 150 balloons, which should be enough to make you truly unpopular with your neighbours. The power of this thing has to be seen to be believed.
