We love our windyuplamp! We got one for our camping buddies too... and they love it just as much! The only drawback is DO NOT LOSE THE CHARGE CABLE!! The winding is fine, but the initial charge while driving to your campsite is a godsend!!

After turning the handle for a few minutes the lamp gives a great light which you can easily use to see to read or do a crossword. I have yet to take it camping but i look forward to it!
It's is a funky design & looks neat hanging up in the tent, however, the light from the l.e.d.'s is not as bright as I was led to believe, so a bit disappointed, but it is still an eco friendly lamp.

This was an excellent purchase. I have wind up torches which have been very useful especially in surprise power cuts. This is even better as it can stand or hang up leaving your hands free.
Saves always having to find new batteries for torches in emergencies
